On Saturday, May 31, 2025, Valley Spring Family Medicine hosted Community Health Day in Vauxhall, NJ—an inclusive event focused on promoting wellness for individuals and families of all ages. With no appointment or insurance required, attendees accessed a wide range of free health services, including:
- Women’s Screenings: Mammogram referrals (40+), at-home colon cancer test kits, and cervical cancer screenings
- Men’s Screenings: Prostate screenings (PSA) and colon cancer test kits
- Additional Services: Vision screenings, physical exams, dental and podiatry exams, mental health and substance use screenings
The day also included free food, clothing, giveaways, and community resource information. Sponsored in collaboration with Saint Michael’s Medical Center, the New Jersey Department of Health, and the New Jersey Prevention Network, the event brought vital care and connection to the local community.
