Dr. Duncan, a dedicated member of the Brick City Rotary Club and Chair of the Mind Your Mental Committee, was featured in this event focused on advancing mental health equity. A third-year psychiatry resident at Ocean University Medical Center, Dr. Duncan brings a strong commitment to community-centered care, with clinical interests in Addiction Psychiatry, Sports Psychiatry, and Global Mental Health.
A North Jersey native and former multisport athlete, Dr. Duncan shared his passion for supporting student-athlete wellbeing and addressing mental health disparities in underserved populations. His work with the Newark Department of Health and Community Wellness, where he led multiple health equity initiatives, continues to inform his approach today.
